You have decided to use the dgtl.ai app, and we thank you for placing your trust in us. In conjunction with the associated use of this platform, we collect and process diverse personal data that is required to fulfil the stated purposes. In accordance with Art. 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this document will inform you of the specific data involved in this process, how such data is processed and what rights you are entitled to in this regard.

The dgtl.ai app is a mobile application that offers the user diverse functions to facilitate their stay pre-, during and post-events (i.e with a personal agenda, booking workshops, etc.).

We have concluded the relevant data processing contracts for the collaboration with our partners, which is required to provide the app and the use of its functions.Usage data that is collected during the use of the app is processed on our servers to prepare it for use in the app.
7. Transfer of data to a third country
There is no intention to transfer the personal data to a third country or an international organisation.
8. Data retention period
Your personal data will be deleted when the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored, provided that this does not conflict with legal retention obligations, or if storage is not permissible for other legal reasons.
9. You have the following rights:
- In accordance with Art. 15 of the GDPR, you may obtain information from the data controller concerning your personal data that is being processed (for example, regarding the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients and the planned storage period).
- In accordance with Art. 16 of the GDPR, you may demand the swift rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you that is stored by the data controller.
- In accordance with Art. 17 of the GDPR, you may, under certain circumstances, demand the deletion of the personal data concerning you that is stored by the data controller.- In accordance with Art. 18 of the GDPR, you may, under certain conditions, demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
- In accordance with Art. 20 of the GDPR, you may demand to receive your own personal data which you have provided to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and machinereadable format or demand that it be transferred to another controller.
- In accordance with Art. 7 (3) of the GDPR, you may, at any time, withdraw the consent that you have given to the data controller. As a consequence, henceforth the data controller may no longer continue with any data processing activities that were strictly subject to this consent.
- In accordance with Art. 77 of the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, this involves contacting the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or place of work or at the head office of our company.
10. Data that is marked as mandatory information is either required by law or the terms of the contract, or necessary in order to conclude the contract.
Failure to provide the mandatory data will render it impossible to fulfil the purposes of the processing.Data that is not marked as mandatory information is provided on a voluntary basis. Failure to provide voluntary information will render us unable to provide you with adequate support or product recommendations.

In accordance with Art. 22 (1, 4) of the GDPR, no automated decision-making will take place.
12. Categories of collected personal data
- Professional contact and (work) organisational data: Surname, first name, gender, address, e-mail address, telephone number, mobile phone number, company, division, department, cost centre, personnel numbers, responsibilities, functions, attendance (yes/no), etc.
- IT usage data: User ID, roles, authorisations, login times, computer name, IP address, etc.- Location data: GPS, radio network location, movement profile, Wi-Fi hotspot location, etc.
13. App-specific data protection information
App access to device functions:
Access to the camera/photo function of the device is required when scanning QR codes, uploading user photos or creating entries on the app timelineAccess to the Bluetooth function of the device is used to determine the location as part of the personalization of content that has a location reference.Access to the WLAN function of the device takes place during data transmission (use WLAN, if available)
Access to the memory of the device only takes place within the framework of the intermediate storage of the recorded data in order to ensure optimum use even if the device has no Internet connection.
Data collection during user registration
Within our app we offer functions which require that you register before you can use them. During this process, we will collect your contact details to the extent necessary. This personal data will only be passed on to third parties if it is required to perform the service or you have explicitly agreed to it.
Location determination (only via Bluetooth)
In connection with the use of some features, we collect your current location via Bluetooth to provide you with quick information about your immediate surroundings. You can deactivate the transmission of the position in all common mobile devices (usually in the settings menu). Please understand that in this case not all functions of our app will be available.
Location determination (via GPS or WLAN hotspots)
In connection with the use of some features, we collect your current location in order to provide you with quick information about your immediate surroundings. You can deactivate the transmission of the GPS position or the login to WLAN hotspots in all common mobile devices (usually in the settings menu). Please understand that in this case not all functions of our app will be available.
Collection and use of data for marketing purposes
The data collected in connection with the use of the App will not be used by us to inform you about products, services and/or marketing campaigns that might interest you, unless you explicitly agree to receive information for marketing purposes.
Cookies
When you use our app, we may store information on your mobile device in the form of a cookie, or a technology that is comparable to cookies, because some functions can only be made available with the use of cookies.
Web analytics / Google Analytics
To constantly improve the user-friendliness and quality of the services that we offer and adapt them to your needs, we use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our app. Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files that are stored on your computer and allow Google to analyse the use of our services.
Data security in the app
We take technical and organisational security precautions to protect your personal data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised individuals. Our data processing and security precautions are constantly improved to keep pace with ongoing technological developments.
All data transfers – between the app and our back end as well as to external interfaces – are encrypted.

We reserve the right to change our data protection and security measures if this is rendered necessary by technological developments. In this event, we will adapt our data protection provisions accordingly and inform you in a suitable manner and – if necessary – obtain your consent.
